Or never.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Denzel Washington Destroys the Liberal Media over &quot;Fake News&quot;\" width=\"580\" height=\"326\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/KrE1ZvldiFE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-background-color has-background\">News \u201cfrom (credible or confidential) sources\u201c, but impossible to be verified, will manipulate you in the direction desired by the owner\u2019s news or the distributor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-background-color has-background\">The news is not anymore neutral but heavily connected to who is paying the monthly check. Or the big bonus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-background-color has-background\">Journalism, as in the <a href=\"https:\/\/oxfordre.com\/communication\/display\/10.1093\/acrefore\/9780190228613.001.0001\/acrefore-9780190228613-e-89\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ethical cod<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/oxfordre.com\/communication\/display\/10.1093\/acrefore\/9780190228613.001.0001\/acrefore-9780190228613-e-89\">e<\/a>(s) originally planned, is \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.merriam-webster.com\/dictionary\/rara%20avis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">rara avis<\/a>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-background-color has-background\">I will not keep you a lecture about journalism, as it is not my field of specialty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-background-color has-background\">But I would like very briefly, to reiterate few advises for a safer and better online #cyberlife :<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"261\" height=\"174\" src=\"https:\/\/cyber-cerber.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-335\" style=\"width:555px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.enisa.europa.eu\/news\/enisa-news\/ecsm-2020\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.enisa.europa.eu\/news\/enisa-news\/ecsm-20<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.enisa.europa.eu\/news\/enisa-news\/ecsm-2020\">20<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ThinkB4YouClick: Stop, Think, Act (<em>is one of the very first advice you\u2019ll get in a scuba diving class<\/em>, in stress management).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use a search engine and do basic research about the info you are just about to \u201clike\u201d and \u201cshare\u201d. There are deeper and more complex tools to identify the original sources and to spot the dark side of that information, I\u2019ll be back on this topic in a separate article.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bitdefender.com\/blog\/hotforsecurity\/6-things-fake-news-and-cyber-scams-have-in-common-and-how-you-can-fend-them-off\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fake news<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.avira.com\/en\/blog\/misinformation-is-a-cybersecurity-risk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Misinformation<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC9910783\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Disinformation<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/us.norton.com\/blog\/emerging-threats\/what-are-deepfakes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Deep Fake<\/a>, with the aim of the advanced &amp; powerful computer &amp; dedicated software, and with the booming of the &nbsp;#<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ibm.com\/topics\/artificial-intelligence\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.ibm.com\/topics\/artificial-intelligence\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ArtificialIntelligence<\/a> (aka #AI) support (or\u2026 leadership), will produce audio &amp; visual content almost impossible to be classified. This plague will affect directly or indirectly, almost everything and everybody. A fine-tunned \u201cnews\u201d (written, audio or video) can crash companies or stock markets, can divert politically elections, can turn the World upside down\u2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"\u2018Deep Fakes\u2019 Are Becoming More Realistic Thanks To New Technology\" width=\"580\" height=\"326\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/CDMVaQOvtxU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Everybody can be everything, any scammer can be a CEO.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.secureworld.io\/industry-news\/hong-kong-deepfake-cybercrime\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.secureworld.io\/industry-news\/hong-kong-deepfake-cybercrime\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">$25 million video scam ( 2024)<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any crook can be a \u201cpublic speaker\u201d, any mobster can show off as a prolific businessman. Be suspicious with \u201covernight\u201d booming businesses\u2026 Search who is behind that &#8220;successful story&#8221;! Search who is involved (politically, economically, \u201csentimentally\/sexually\u201d) in the background. Don\u2019t trust everything you see posted on their \u201cbusiness\u201d website!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Don&#8217;t get easily impressed by the high numbers of &#8220;likes&#8221;, &#8220;followers&#8221; or &#8220;comments&#8221; on certain websites, pages, groups or profiles. <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/en-au\/social-media\/is-paying-for-likes-and-followers-for-your-social-media\/339045\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/en-au\/social-media\/is-paying-for-likes-and-followers-for-your-social-media\/339045\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">It is SO easy to buy your &#8220;celebrity&#8221;<\/a><\/em>. I am not posting links to such &#8220;services&#8221; as I am not intending to promote such scammers!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"675\" height=\"380\" src=\"https:\/\/cyber-cerber.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/social-media.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-363\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cyber-cerber.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/social-media.jpeg 675w, https:\/\/cyber-cerber.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/social-media-300x169.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 675px) 100vw, 675px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-background-color has-background\">And remember, a fake news or misinformation remains an information with no value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-background-color has-background\">No matter that there is partial reality or truth in that information, the diversion of it with the clear intention of manipulation, is canceling any value of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-primary-color has-subtle-background-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-072675a36bc03bc627d9875dea32e52b\">And to give you a harsh example: you have a bottle of water. But somebody is peeing in your water bottle. Just a bit. A very little. Is your water still potable? You will still drink from that bottle of contaminated water?\u2020<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-background-color has-background\">I guess, no!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-background-color has-background\">Same with the information.
